One of the best enhancements to SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2016 is the addition of the Project Macro. Users can now save project documents or sets of project documents as a macro to use within other projects.
New in SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2016, users can right-click on multiple project documents to create a macro of that project. Creating macros allows users to access saved projects, diagrams, parts or schematics for use in another project. To access saved macros users simply need to right-click on the document book in a new project and select the Insert Project Macro option. The Paste Special Wizard will run through the paste options available for inserting your project macro into your new project.
SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2016 Project Macros allow you to automate your electrical design process by giving easier access to duplicate your already existing projects documents. This reduces errors and time spent on revising, allowing more time for new designs and projects.
