ATTENTION: Experienced mechanical engineers looking for work. Here’s your opportunity!
There was another informative Boston Area North SolidWorks User Group (SWUG) last week.
One of the reasons I go to SWUGs is to get a sense of the industry, and last week an employee of a brand new start-up told me she was going to hire 15-20 Mechanical Engineers this year as her company ramps up to produce their first groundbreaking product!
As with everything in our global world, the design will be done in the Boston area and the manufacturing will be global. She is looking for ME’s experienced in SolidWorks (because that’s the global engineering language now) and in Design-For-Manufacture (DFM). Their goal is to get from prototype to production as quickly as possible.
If you think you fit the bill, send me your resume: shuvom(at)capinc.com. I’ll pass them along to her once a week, so she doesn’t get inundated with e-mails.
The product seems to be something very cool in consumer electronics, so if you want to be a part of a growing start-up send me your resume and make sure to go to the next SolidWorks User Group!
